They see themselves as the true keepers of dwarven culture. They prefer living underground, hardly ever leaving their deep enclaves.
- Ability Increase. Increase your STR and
WIS modifiers by 1.
- True Miners. You have advantage on all checks
concerning mining, stone, mining tools, metals, and gems.
- Wealth. Add 200 gp to your starting equipment.
- Epic Racial: You are now able to cast heat metal,
stone shape and stoneskin as a cantrip, and can cast wall of stone once per day.
Variant Rule: Time-Based Traits
If you use this Variant Rule, you can use these subrace traits instead of the default ones.
0-300 OW
- Skill Proficiency. You have proficiency in
investigation.
- Physical Expert. You know how to create and
operate gunpowder, as well as how to operate guns (if they exist in the time you exist).
300-460 OW
- Skill Proficiency.: You have proficiency in
Arcana and Insight.
- Son of the Krynn. You can intuitively cast fireball as a fourth-level spell once per day.
460 OW+
- Ability Increase. Increase your STR, CON, WIS and HON modifiers by 1.
- Dwarven Power. You have a +4 bonus to any
magical attack rolls you make, deal an extra 1d12 fire damage to any attacks you hit, have an additional 10 HP, an additional 5 Hit Dice, and are automatically stable when unconscious.
- Son of the Krynn. You have a hovering speed of
50 feet, can turn invisible as a bonus action and have truesight. You can cast any Valkyrie spells up to 2nd level as cantrips, except healing spells. You can intuitively cast fireball as a sixth-level spell.
