Mystral is a project to create a third application of the Many Isles wiki. The goal was to create a simple, quick-loading, and highly customizable note-taking app. It it is based on the wiki engine's fandom, albeit with more customization, easy-to-use features, and privacy. A basic version is available for free for all users, while the full version will be subscription-based.

Project History

First ideas for a note-taking app - with draft name Mythrail - came up among the Pantheon in August 2020. The idea was concretized and worked on abstractly for a few months; part of the delay was to wait for Fandom 3.0, on which Mystral will largely be based, to launch in late October. Afterward, there were still some hitches to be worked out and features to be added to the fandom, while the launch of Armuria v3 required much bug-fixing and other small changes across the website.

The app was created in November 2021. It was worked on (bug-fixing) for a few weeks after that.
