The Trensandor Empire was a goblinoid state in eastern Oshmondu. It was the earliest state to see the Orc Wars.

History

The Empire was founded in 931 when Clan Trensandor - who had just successfully invaded the formerly Luchian human colonies on Colupan - expanded its sphere of control onto Turlu. The "heik", or emperor, swiftly gained control over all Argyr peoples in the Coluchip and on Balebu, using a system of influence and voluntary participation rather than direct invasion and rule, known as the tynsegi system.^[3]

The empire underwent a quite serious civil war from 735 - 720 b. OW.

The human subjects of Balebu seceded in 626 b. OW, establishing the Drummir Kingdom. The Colupanians meanwhile fought from 662 til 552 for their independence, splitting into autonomous states.^[1]

During the Orc Wars, Trensandor first fought alongside Bonebreaker, then in the Greentree Coalition against them. This secured the Andans' position in the post-war order.

Trensandor engaged in the Holy Trinity alliance with Ochebana and Zann'Elth. Starting in 163, it was on and again at war with Tsseh, a very powerful rival. In 210, Colupan was invaded by the snakefolk, and the Andan empire collapsed as a result. Two splinter states claimed to be the continuation of Trensandor: the Trensandor Federation in the north, and the Southern Trensandor Empire in the south.^[2]
