The magical process of Cycling is mystical indeed. Through some cosmic and unprecised way, some major magical events can become woven into the fabric of the Weave, the magical fabric of Ochebana. This causes an effect to repeat yearly, as if replaying major events from the past.

Sometimes, this comes from an epic battle between devils and celestials when immensely powerful spells rippled the world, carving the boon given to the soldiers into the Weave to be repeated every year. Or, other times, some obscure ritual between drow and sheep causes mammals every year to grow more wool. The reasons for an event Cycling are mysterious and quite unknown.
