Drubark EmpireLore - Organization Canon
10'567 b. OW -
Clan Drubark, more commonly known as the Drubark Empire, was an orcish clan of northeastern Oshmondu.
Politics
Unlike most clans in the proper sense, Drubark wasn't very united. It had a central leadership, which usually consisted of a coalition of separate warlords, but actually was a motley collection of smaller clans. To orcs, "Drubark" was more a people, an identity. Drubark's black sword was more a symbol of belonging to some greater orcish cause, usually that "of the northeast", than of loyalty to a certain leadership. Many leaders throughout history took advantage of this, proclaiming their aims to be those of the whole northern people.
Geography
The Drubark people, or clan, were at first centered on Intralu and northern Balebu. With time, however, they gradually spread westwards, notably annexing Muna, Turlu, and the Ogre-Orc isles.
History
The first orcs to reach Oshmondu from Bolmeranda settled on eastern Intralu. They weren't in any sense a united clan, but the strongest was Drubark, and so the entire host - when it encountered resistance - rallied under the Drubark banner.
Thereafter, Drubark became one of the major orcish alliances. They occasionally had days of glory, notably invading Intralu twice, and reached their apogee around 300 b. OW.
