Callobar HallonasLore - Person Canon
The high elven god Callobar Hallonas was the most prominent member of the Silmarilus, much like his people were the most widespread of the elven realms. Callobar was a calm artist, one who reflected and philosophized. He accepted everyone, and was generous even to the most hideous. The gentle groves of Silma Fael resonated with the music of his beautiful harp as it permeated the fey realm and the souls of all elves. He was the uniter of the elves, and the deity of Art and Magic.
Worship
Callobar was worshipped as patron of high elves and the guiding light of magic and art. He was the mentor of the musician and the teacher of the wizard. He led the discovery and use of High Magic. Many people venerated Callobar. The high elves did so because he was their father. Magicians prayed to Callobar, hoping to enrich their worldly knowledge. Many aides of house mothers or other important people worshipped him, hoping that his knowledge of art and beauty might help them embelling their masters' homes and lives. Even cities chose the Beautiful as their patron, albeit mainly because of dominant high elven population.
A temple to Callobar was traditionally built on grassy ground, in wide, curving yellow-coloured domes. In their midst stood a great harp. Priests lived in small attachments to the dome's side, sometimes even residing directly above the harp. On each side of the main dome was another, representing the aspects of the Beautiful: one filled with a sprawling network of dancing lights and improbable creations of magic, the other with beautiful crafts of art (often sponsored by surrounding elven populations). Next to going to a temple, any elf could create a beautiful sparkle of lights through magic or play a melody on a golden harp, knowing Callobar would hear them. Sometimes, his worshippers hoped he would grant them their wishes, but often they just expressed their love for their god.
